Promt is an online bank that provides banking services in the European Union. From banking services, these are accounts with the option of currency conversion, debit cards, virtual cards. In the future, stock trading and other services are also planned.

The online bank appeared as a venture of a well-established bank, on which the board of directors had big plans and considered it as a large-scale vector of development and attraction of new investments and partners for 2021.

 

Tasks and goals

The client approached us with the task of developing a banking web application and a mobile application for iOS and Android devices, which must be implemented within a strictly defined time frame without any delays.

A more extended list of tasks assigned to us was as follows:

  • Analyze the requirements for the banking application on the part of the client;
  • Analyze and study the requirements for a banking application on the part of potential bank customers;
  • Develop terms of reference;
  • Develop a user interface design, taking into account the client’s brand book, which will ensure the simplicity and ease of use of the application;
  • Develop an MVP within a limited time frame of 7 months;
  • Simultaneously release a web application and a mobile application for iOS/Android devices.

 

Solution

We conducted a comprehensive analysis of the target market, studied the requirements for the application both on the part of the bank and on the part of potential users.

Taking into account our competence, extensive experience and a highly qualified team, we have identified and agreed with the client the main areas that need to be emphasized in the development and development, which, in the future, will distinguish the product from other competitors in this market:

  • Modern, convenient and most understandable interface;
  • Developed customer service (technical support, remote maintenance, quick account opening and card issuance, etc.)

Summary

The development of a web application and a mobile application for iOS and Android devices was successfully completed.

The MVP development period was 7 months from the start of work. The web application and mobile applications were developed in parallel in order to have time to complete the work in time. So we:

  • Studied the requirements for the banking application on the part of the client;
  • Conducted an analysis and studied the current requirements for a banking application from potential customers of the bank;

  • Released a mobile app on Google Play and the App Store.
