PayWay is an electronic wallet that was developed by our team on request. Users can send and receive payments worldwide, and use it to store fiat currencies (dollars, euros, pounds) and cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Ripple, etc.).

Tasks and goals

We were approached by a client with the task of developing an electronic wallet that will allow users to make fast and secure payments, while it should be easy to use.

The following tasks were set:

  • Conduct market research and user needs;
  • Determine the main features and functions of an electronic wallet;
  • Develop terms of reference;
  • Develop interface, prototypes;
  • Develop an electronic wallet in 3 months

Solution

We have conducted market research and user needs research. This made it possible to determine the main requirements for the wallet in order to make it more convenient and attractive in relation to competitors that are already on the market.

Based on the conducted market research, we determined that an electronic wallet should:

  • Provide functions to receive and send payments in various currencies;
  • Support many payment methods, including bank cards and cryptocurrencies;
  • Have a user-friendly interface;
  • Support automatic currency exchange;
  • Have a section for converting cryptocurrencies into USD, EUR, GBP;
  • Have a high speed of payment processing and reliability of the system so that users can make transactions quickly and securely.

We agreed with the client on the supported fiat payment systems, the list of currencies and cryptocurrencies that will be available in the MVP and that will be gradually added in the future as the e-wallet develops and updates.
